There is a large kitchen table which easily seats four, with chairs for six, and a high chair stored away.  There is a small range of plastic plates and cups for the smaller guests and a couple of sets of cutlery.

We have also supplied a picnic set including plates, cups and bowls and a cool bag with ice blocks to take your food out for the day with you.

Please bring your own beach towels and towels for use outside the cottage.

We have tried to make the cottage as energy-efficient as possible.

All lighting fixtures have energy saving bulbs, the loft is well insulated, and the windows are double glazed. The heating system is a modern Spanish design that is little known in the UK (rather than poorly efficient storage heaters which are more common in areas with no gas). The rooms are thermostatically controlled and set for your comfort and warmth.

The Garden

The garden is directly behind the cottage. It has a large table and chairs and a bbq on the patio area. There is a shed which has room for 2 bikes (at your own risk).  A short distance down the road is a large playing field with a children’s playground.

The garden is a private area fenced off, however, it has a path at the rear of the house which allows access for all properties.  We ask that dogs are not exercised or toileted in the garden – across the road and 20 yds up a small lane there are fields for the dogs to be walked and exercised.

Parking – there is parking on the road on the other side or directly in front of the cottage.

This is very close to the village centre and avoids the problems of the parking around the greens. There is a new carpark the other side the village for day visitors which has taken some of the strain off the parking.
