Local Activities around Burnham Market, Norfolk
- These range from the nature options of bird watching at Snettisham and Titchwell to Seal Trips from Morston Quay out to Blakeney point.
- There are several National Nature Reserves close by including Scolt Head Island Holkham Nature Reserve and Brancaster Harbour and Pensthorpe home of the BBC springwatch '08 and '09.
- There is also a children's farm at Snettisham Park Farm.
- There are beaches at Brancaster Holkham, Wells Next to the Sea and Hunstanton to name a few.
- Other activity includes visiting the local stately home, seat of the Earls of Leicester, Holkham Hall or the Queen's country residence at not far away Sandringham. Here you can take a ride around the grounds on a train, visit inside when the Queen is not home or even buy some of her meat from the estate shop.

Food and drink
Recommended restaurant in Burnham Market is the Hoste Arms. It will need booking at weekends and in high season. There are 2 tea shops and a fantastic Chinese takeaway next to the garage. There is also the Jockey pub which serves food.
Outside the village
And if none of that takes your fancy there's great fish and chips at French's on Wells Quay or an ample breakfast served at Burnham Deepdale Cafe
