The cottage is a comfortable and tastefully decorated and furnished property.  We have tried to include all the home comforts you require.  New in this cottage is an induction hob which is high power and wifi /broadband connection.  Again there is modern electric heating throughout and the refurbishment has tried to incorprate as many environmental features as possible. 

The ground floor

There is modern, warm, bamboo flooring throughout the ground floor.   You enter the cottage into a hallway with storage for shoes and coats.  Three doors lead off here, the bathroom, the utility and the kitchen which leads to the rest of the cottage.

The bathroom has a new suite, a thermostatically controlled electric shower over the bath.  It has a folding back shower screen that allows maximum space in the bathroom.  The mirror is back lit and includes a shaver point.  We supply liquid soap for handwashing and a hand towel.  There is also a toilet and sink.

The utility contains the washing machine keeping the noise out of the living areas.  It also holds cleaning equipement, garden cushions etc and a highchair for smaller guests.  And also a picnic kit (not including rug)

The kitchen is modern and nearly fitted.  There is a table and chairs which provide seating for four.  There is an oven and microwave, dishwasher, induction hob and fridge freezer.  Again there is an extensive batterie of kitchen equipment.  It includes baking dishes, good quality pans, potato masher and even scales and a rolling pin!!

To the left at the end of the kitchen is the door to the living room.  This spacious room contains comfortable seating for four.  Other features include.

32 Inch HD freesat TV with HD scaling DVD player, Wharfdale stereo that docks ipods and plays MP3's (with a lead - supply your own), some DVD's, books, games, some toddler toys and books, and a multi fuel wood burning stove.

Returning through the kitchen are the stairs to the first floor.  Common with Norfolk stair cases it has a door at the bottom of it.

First floor

There is a twin room with handmade beds, bedside tables, a dresser and hanging space.  The mattresses have a comfortable memory foam topper.  All bedding is luxury synthetic, hyper allegnic and covered with dust mite proof protectors.  There is luxury hotel quality, 400g soft Eygptian cotton sheets on all beds.  There are fluffy heavy weight Turkish cotton towels.

The main bedroom contains a Kingsize bed and similar white washed hand made furniture.  It contains a full size wardrobe.  The is a wall mounted 19 inch TV with integrated DVD player and HD freesat.  Both bedrooms have painted wooden floors with warm wool rugs for under the feet.

Again the cottage is fitted with modern electric heating and is well insulated in the roof space to keep you cosy all year round.  

Outside

There is a courtyard garden containing a bbq and garden furniture. It allows you to sit out in the lovely surroundings of the courtyard gardens.

Parking

The cottage is set back behind a row of cottages.  Therefore there is no direct access for vehicles.  However the walk to the gate is no more than 20yds.  It is possible to drop off outside the external cottages, however we ask that you respect the neighours windows and dont park there other than for short periods of time.  There is space to park a further 20 yds up the road close the wall where it is wider and also safer for your vehicle. 

An alternative is to park in the village car park or on the road leading from it away towards the sea.  This is not a through fare and there is a cut through at the bottom back to the road which brinds you out 50 yds from the cottage.  (5 min walk from village car park, 2 min walk from the bottom of the road.)
